The Mentor Emeritus Distinction recognises those individuals who, through their wisdom and generosity, naturally embody mentorship within their communities, often without naming it as such.

It does not confer a position nor assign a formal function. It honours a way of being.

They are individuals who guide without imposing, accompany with integrity, and share experience with a generous spirit. In them, we recognise the living pattern of the Natural Mentor.

In granting this distinction, we do not ask them to become something different.
We acknowledge what they already are.
