A mentor is a human being who, having travelled a path with depth, awareness, and sustainable results, chooses to place their experience, wisdom, and vision at the service of another. Unlike other accompanying roles, the mentor does not operate from radical neutrality or exclusively theoretical knowledge, but rather from lived and reflected experience, sharing lessons that have been embodied in practice.

The mentor works particularly on both know-how and know-being in context, supporting the mentee in developing skills, integrating learning, and achieving appropriate or excellent performance in personal, professional, or organisational settings.
