Essential asynchronous material for acquiring core knowledge of mentoring at your own pace. Previous experience in leading sessions with clients (mentoring, coaching, advisory, consulting or another support discipline) is required. Once you complete it you can access the Certification Platform, pay the registration fee and take the assessment to obtain certification as an Expert Mentor.
Leads to your certification as an “Expert Mentor”

180 hIntermediate Mentoring Programme
University diploma programme · 180 hours · 1 academic year. For people with no previous experience, professionals who want to systematise their early practice and those seeking a diploma with an intermediate workload. It draws on the triad “Mentoring as a Human Path” (La Mentoría como Camino Humano). It includes training exercises; it does not by itself qualify you to practise independently as a professional.

360 / 600 hComprehensive Mentoring Programme
Contact a university to take this training. Once you have access you will find videos, manuals and exercises that will prepare you for the “Expert Mentor” certification. Duration: 360 h (1 academic year) or 600 h (2 years). Levels: Practitioner Mentor (Master Guide, Volume I), Professional Mentor (Volume II) and Expert Mentor (Volume III).

50 hCourse module: Introduction to mentoring
For university programmes · 50 hours (1 four-month term). “Mentoring as a discipline of human development and transfer of wisdom”: understanding what mentoring is and its human foundation, distinguishing it from other disciplines, recognising the value of reflected experience and the development of awareness and wisdom.
